TALES FROM ALUMS
A TALE is any account of an experience you had while in the Beaver Battalion or after that captures some aspect of your training or your service. Note: a TALE is also news (updates) from you about you or about a fellow Beav. We invite you to share info, tales, etc.

Most of your inputs will appear in our Alumni Newletter, which we post each quarter. The editor has been Robert Deen USMC ('76), who took over from Rodger Bekooy USN ('65). That was three years ago. In July of 2022, Ken Collyer USMC ('73) took over from Robert Deen.

Most of the posts listed below are linked to a publication. When you click on a story, that story links to a publication and it will display as a PDF. Many of the posts appeared in our Alumni Newsletter but others appeared in other NROTC newsletters, etc. Just a heads up.
SEND US A TALE OR NEWS ABOUT YOU
There is no particular order in the listing since one publication may feature three or four "accounts" from alums from three or four classes and different eras or periods. For now, we'll stick with what you see until someone comes up with an alternative. Here's hoping.

YOU ARE WHY WE EXIST
In essence, our Alumni Group is a timeless "rally point" for tales and news that remind us of who we are. We exist to share with each other what we did, why we did it, and how we did it. Our tales capture that in many ways. They offer us a rich embrace.
SEND US A TALE OR NEWS ABOUT YOU
No matter how much your recollections may seen routine and of no interest to your classmates and peers, they are. Each tale we post adds power, depth, and nuance to our bond.
Don't
sell yourself short. Send us tales and news; the sooner, the better.
