Alumni Group Coordinator

Our Naval ROTC Alumni Group exists to locate and connect former classmates and to support (and "nourish") the Battalion in basic and needed ways.  We provide a degree of financial input from time to time as well as mentor midshipmen if they invite our help.

The program has been hit by imposed reductions in funds and other resources for some years now.  As alumni, we strive to do what we can to patch the leaks and bolster the efforts of the staff.  Our goal is simple: to extend a hand to future Naval and Marine officers.

Note: the CO, Battalion staff, and our Group are working on projects to uphold the unit’s long record of success and to create a structure of mentor relationships.  The first unit was formed in 1946.  History shows that some 2,500 midshipmen have been part of the program.

Every fall, we organize a "Beaver Battalion Foxhole and Fantail Alumni Muster" at the unit.  We gather a few hours before the homecoming football game.  This amounts to an all-class "Tailgater" for OSU Naval ROTC alums, friends, and current midshipmen.  You'll love it.
