OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY
NAVAL ROTC ALUMNI GROUP
"Best in the West...and the Rest"
CLASSES: 1950-2021
Some 2,500 midshipmen have been part of Oregon State NROTC since 1946. The first class graduated in 1950. What this means is that our alumni group has
71 classes
to seek to muster in behalf of both "good vibes" and good works. As a Group, we cast off back in 2013.
What you see below is what we hope to be able to display for each class since 1950: (1) a photo of the entire Battalion; (2) a photo of the graduating class of that year; (3) a sequence of photos of Battalion "doings" that WE hereby ask YOU to SCAN and then send us.
Each class will have a sequence of photos like what you see below in the two
demo slideshows. No captions; at least, not right now. But time passes, things happen, and
NEVER say
Never. We
will include the photos you send. NOTE:
you're our lifeblood.
No You; No Us.
NOTES ON HOW THIS WORKS: the photos above are
examples
of how a particular class "could" be shown if each class had photos of the unit AND the graduating seniors. Many of the 71 classes lack accessible photos from sources that we've looked at (ie,
hunted down).

The fact is, some classes will have (maybe) less than ten total photos that we can edit, plug into a slideshow, and display here on the site. Here's hoping that our large "remnant" of OSU NROTC alums (you) will respond to our call for input and provide us with photos, etc.
Make no mistake, our concept of the website is daunting to achieve but worth the ordeal of trying. We need your help, we
absolutely
need your help, and without your help with photos and stories, etc, what
can
be achieved
won't
be achieved. Let's turn to.
Onward!
What appears on this website is what you
choose
to have appear; no more, no less. If you choose not to respond, then your class will be devoid of photos and stories. We only provide a way for you to crank up and stand tall for your class. Do NOT let your peers down.
